Embark on an extraordinary 7-day journey to explore the foundations of Western civilization. This organized tour takes you through Greece's most iconic landmarks, from the ancient Acropolis of Athens to the breathtaking clifftop monasteries of Meteora.

A journey to discover the roots of Western civilization, crossing some of the most symbolic and fascinating places of antiquity. From Athens, the cradle of Hellenism, to the great archaeological sites of Argolide, from Olympia and Delphi to the spectacular Meteore, the itinerary combines history, myth, art, and wonderful landscapes. DAY 1 - FLIGHT TO GREECE: Gathering of participants in the morning and departure by GT coach towards Bologna BLQ Marconi Airport. Check-in procedures and departure with a direct flight to Athens ATH - Eleftherios Venizelos. Upon arrival, luggage collection and welcome, then transfer by GT bus to the Hotel in Athens. Room accommodation, dinner, and overnight stay. DAY 2 - AT THE ORIGIN OF THE WESTERN WORLD: ATHENS. Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a full day dedicated to discovering the Greek capital: Parliament Square, the historic Panatenaico Stadium, and the area of the presidential residences, the University, and the Academy. Visit to Hadrian's Arch and the majestic Temple of Olympian Zeus. Following this, ascent to the Acropolis, the heart of Hellenism, to admire the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion with the famous Caryatids, and the imposing Parthenone. Subsequently, entry to the modern Acropolis Museum. Lunch in a restaurant during the visits. At the end of the excursions, return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay. DAY 3 - ARGOLIDE: CRADLE OF MYTHS AND HEROES. Breakfast at the hotel and followed by departure towards Argolide. Stop in Corinto to observe the famous Canal. The journey continues towards Micene and Epidauro. Lunch in a restaurant during the visits. At the end of the day, continuation of the journey towards Olympia, arriving in the evening. Accommodation in the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay. DAY 4 - AT THE ORIGINS OF THE GAMES: OLYMPIA. Breakfast at the Hotel. Morning dedicated to discovering the archaeological site of Olympia. The visit continues in the Museum. Lunch in a restaurant. Subsequently, departure towards Delphi, arriving at the Hotel in Delphi or the surrounding area, dinner, and overnight stay. DAY 5 - THE SACRED HEART OF ANTIQUITY: DELPHI. Breakfast at the Hotel and followed by a morning dedicated to visiting the archaeological site and the museum of Delphi. Lunch in a local restaurant and, in the afternoon, departure for Kalambaka. Upon arrival, accommodation in the Hotel, dinner, and overnight stay. DAY 6 - A STEP AWAY FROM HEAVEN: METEORE. Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a morning dedicated to discovering two of the famous monasteries of Meteore. Lunch in a local restaurant. At the end of the visits, departure for the return to Athens; arrival at the Hotel, room accommodation, dinner, and overnight stay. DAY 7 - RETURN TO ITALY. Breakfast at the Hotel and followed by transfer to Athens airport; check-in procedures and boarding. Arrival at Bologna Marconi airport and transfer to the departure points by GT bus. Expected arrival in the evening.
