Valencia, one of Spain's most fascinating cities, where history, culture, and innovation blend in a perfect balance. Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, it offers a historic center rich in monuments, splendid beaches, and a vibrant atmosphere. The symbol of the modern city is the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, an extraordinary architectural complex housing the Museo de las Ciencias, the Oceanogràfic, and the Hemisfèric. During the trip, we will also visit the historic center, with the Cathedral, the Lonja de la Seda, and the Mercado Central, as well as the evocative Jardines del Turia. There will be plenty of opportunities to savor the famous paella valenciana and experience the authentic Mediterranean atmosphere. An itinerary designed to combine culture, art, science, and tradition, to discover one of Spain's most dynamic cities. DAY 1 - THE HISTORIC HEART OF VALENCIA: Early morning meeting of participants at Aeroporto di Pisa. Meeting with the tour leader, completion of boarding formalities, and departure with a low-cost scheduled flight to Valencia airport. Arrival and transfer by bus to the hotel. Accommodation at a central 4* Hotel, strategically located just a few steps from the Jardines del Turia. In the afternoon, meeting with the local guide and departure on foot for a visit to the historic center, a place where history and daily life merge in a weave of lively squares and small streets with ancient charm. A pleasant walk will allow you to discover the city's most representative and important sites: the elegant Torres de Serranos, Plaza de la Virgen with the Cathedral and the Basilica de la Virgen de los Desamparados, Plaza de la Reina, the evocative Carmen neighborhood, the Lonja de la Seda (UNESCO Heritage), the Mercado Central, and the lively Plaza del Ayuntamiento, the beating heart of the city. Free time to browse the shops, stop at one of the characteristic cafes, or simply enjoy the city's cheerful atmosphere. Group meeting and typical dinner in a restaurant in the historic center, with a traditional Valencian menu. Return to the hotel with a pleasant walk through the city center. Overnight stay at the Hotel. DAY 2 – THE CITY OF ARTS AND SCIENCES: Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with the local guide and transfer by public transport to the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, the most modern and iconic architectural complex in Valencia, designed by Santiago Calatrava. A futuristic architectural complex containing a huge cultural and scientific space of over 350,000 m²; inside there are various spectacular buildings, all with innovative designs, featuring reflecting pools and basins that make it one of the most photographed areas of Valencia. Guided tour of the outdoor area, with an explanation of its most emblematic buildings: the Hemisfèric, the Museo de las Ciencias, the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, the Umbracle, and the Oceanogràfic, the largest aquarium in Europe. Free lunch during the excursion. In the afternoon, possibility to continue discovering the complex individually. Optional visit to the Oceanogràfic and the Hemisfèric (MANDATORY RESERVATION €45.00 per person, to be communicated at the time of registration and settled simultaneously with the deposit payment). The former offers a fascinating journey to discover the planet's main marine ecosystems, with over 27,000 animals belonging to hundreds of species, including sharks, dolphins, penguins, sea turtles, jellyfish, and belugas. An engaging experience that combines naturalistic interest, avant-garde architecture, and knowledge of marine heritage. The Hemisfèric, with its unique shape resembling a large human eye, houses a state-of-the-art projection room equipped with immersive technology, where shows dedicated to astronomy, nature, science, and knowledge of our planet are presented. At the end of the visits, independent return to the center by public transport. Afterwards, dinner in a typical restaurant, with the possibility to taste Valencian cuisine specialties, including traditional paella. Return to the hotel and overnight stay. DAY 3: Breakfast at the hotel and transfer by bus to Valencia airport. Return flight. Arrival in the early afternoon at Aeroporto di Pisa.
