DAY 1/Saturday 25 February 2023 * Meeting of the participants the group and
departure by coach for ROME. During the highway journey
convenient stop for breakfast (optional in the grill) until
reach the "capital" for a free lunch in the heart of the city. In the first
afternoon guided tour of the famous GALLERIA BORGHESE
undoubtedly the “museum” n. 1 of the city of ROME immersed in a
lush evergreen park within which prominent buildings resemble the
splendor of the great noble families of the city such as the Borghese. In the
visit will not miss the opportunity to admire the precious art collections
with works by Caravaggio, Raphael, Titian, Tintoretto and other geniuses of the
Italian and foreign painting, but also the marvelous works of Canova (da
request at the time of booking). At the end of a walk in the
Renaissance Rome between Piazza di Spagna – the Trevi Fountain – and in
shopping "cheek" like Via Condotti; transfer to the hotel in the city, dinner and night
DAY 2/Sunday 26 February 2023 * In the morning, after breakfast,
excursion with guide on the COLLI ALBANI, better known as
CASTELLI ROMANI, renowned places such as CASTELGANDOLFO (with the
papal summer palace), MARINO famous for its wines, ALBANO and NEMI with
the two volcanic lakes in the suggestive shape of a crater; in Ariccia with the
downhill road….where everything goes uphill! And finally in FRASCATI which as
Marino is the homeland of the white wine of “li castelli”…just to taste
some particular dish in one of the renowned restaurants made famous by
ditties of local singer-songwriters and from famous films shot in the last century. To the
sunset start of the return journey with a convenient stop at a grill
motorway and final arrival in the evening.
